The Hotel de Lisieux is a three star hotel in Lourdes - France. Lourdes is most well known as a place of Christian pilgrimage. It is said that the Virgin Mary appeared to a local girl, Bernadette Soubirous, at a grotto in Lourdes in 1858. Today, there are several shrines dedicated to this apparition though out the town and millions flock there each year in the hopes of being miraculously healed by the grotto waters. The hotel is located in close proximity to the shrines and offers a shuttle service. The religious sights are not all that Lourdes has to offer, however.
